Incontrando i due artisti non molto tempo fa, sono stato positivamente colpito dal loro entusiasmo e nella felicità che traspare dall’approccio stilistico delle loro opere d’arte.
«Wow!», mi son detto, «che impresa! La loro arte del XXI secolo corrisponde alla tradizione, ma in un modo e un volto nuovi!».
L’arte dovrebbe infatti ispirare felicità, contribuire al benessere individuale, migliorare la vita di tutti i giorni, contribuire a quell’armonia universale fra Uomo e Natura, fra le varie anime e – inoltre – creare un ponte per lo Spirito.
Ammirare i lavori di B+B e rimanere esterrefatti… trasportati in un nuovo mondo.
Ma c’è molto di più nella loro Arte di un semplice e puro divertimento. Osservare in profondità le loro opere condurrà lo sguardo dello spettatore nella ironia e nelle velate sottigliezze che sono state necessarie a crearle.
“Geografia Amorosa” è un’anamorfosi contemporanea: nei secoli passati sia in Europa sia in Cina gli artisti erano incantati dai “paesaggi della mente”, corrispondenze fra città e sentieri della mente degli esseri umani influenzata dai sentimenti più compositi.
L’anima errante verrebbe così comparata a una ricerca geografica di una sentiero su una mappa, una ricostruzione di una rete stradale, alla scoperta delle piazze, dei fiumi, delle montagne incantate al di là della memoria, dello Spazio e del Tempo. Una visione che vada ben oltre le vedute aeree alla portata di tutti oggi.
La re-interpretazione dell’isola di Capri di B+B è una lezione psicanalitica; le strade e gli spazi, rivisti e corretti nei nomi dopo la catena di sentimenti che la visione della stessa isola evoca, è nella mente degli artisti assolutamente originale.
Allo stesso modo, la mappa della “Città Ideale” re-interpreta simbolicamente la visione Rinascimentale: strade e punti di riferimento vengono ricompresi nell’universo della natura amorosa (da cui il nome della Mostra).
Dicendo “ironia”, intendo esattamente i loro lavori: l’itinerario di un viaggio consiste in una fermata nella Excitement Street (“Strada dell’Eccitazione”) prima di toccare il Temptation Law Court (“Tribunale delle Tentazioni”), forse evitando la Lips Prison (“Prigione delle Labbra”) ma gettando uno sguardo sulla Touch Me Library (“Biblioteca Toccami”).
Questa è un’Arte che uno vorrebbe avere in casa o in ufficio, e lasciare che l’immaginazione corra e abbandoni, in una sorta di pausa mentale, le preoccupazioni quotidiane.

东波西波 = 法国 + 中国
RispondiElimina我是在不久前遇到东波西波两位艺术家的，而且一下子就被他们创作的热情和他们的艺术作品中所散发出的幸福感深深的吸引住了。哇！我心中不禁感叹，多么独特的技艺！身处21世纪却能创作出符合传统又具有创新的艺术作品，恰如老树换新颜！艺术是应该能够传播快乐，给予安宁，丰富人们的日常生活，并遵循其社会功能，即人和自然之间的和谐，每个灵魂和灵魂之间的和谐，而最终能够创造一座通往精神世界的桥梁。
欣赏东波西波的作品，沉浸其中，仿佛被传送进了另一个崭新的世界，但他们的艺术作品又绝非停留在简单的视觉享受上。若能细细深入领会，你会觉察到在蕴藏在这些作品中满溢的讽刺和细微处的精致。
“爱之风景”是一种当代的失真艺术，在过去多个世纪里，无论是欧洲还是中国，艺术家们都为“意念风景”这个概念所着迷，在城镇和人类受各种情绪影响后的心理航程间产生了奇妙的化学作用。
因此，当一颗灵魂的游荡就如同在地图上寻找某个地理坐标时，或是毋需记忆的载体，重新设想重筑街道，广场，河流，山脉的群落，在时间上远在如今人们能够轻易的得到直观的空中视野之前。
东波西波对意大利Capri岛的重构犹如一堂心理分析课；这座闻名的岛屿在两位艺术家心中触发了一系列的情绪冲击，其街道及其它场所均被重新命名。
另一幅重建“理想城市”的地图重新象征化的诠释了文艺复兴时期的概念：同样在这幅作品中，街道和地标在经过整个宇宙恒有的“爱之属性”的洗礼后被重新命名（这也是本次展览“爱之风景”标题的由来）。
之前我提到了“讽刺”这个概念，在我脑海中所呈现的恰好正式他们的作品，一段旅行的行程也许是在抵达“诱惑法庭”前的“兴奋街”下车，或许是为了逃避“红唇监狱”却又对“触摸我吧！图书馆”另眼相待。
这是人们真正想挂在家中或办公室里的艺术，让想象的洪流奔腾起来，为我们波澜不惊的日常生活注入一些新颖且悦意的顿点。

Benoit + Bo = France = China
RispondiEliminaI met the two artists not so much time ago, I was struck, aroused by the enthusiasm of their approach and the happiness which perspires out of their artwork. Wow! I told myself, what a feat! XXI art which corresponds to the great tradition in a new way, a modern face of an old fever! Art should inspire happiness, contribute to well-being, enhance our daily life, adhere to a social function of harmony between man and nature, between soul and soul and - ultimate function –a bridge to the spirit.
See the work of B+B and enjoy…one is transported into a new world. But there is much more in their Art than simple enjoyment. Go deeper and you will see how much irony and subtlety was needed to generate the work..
“Love Geography” is a contemporary anamorphosis; in the past centuries both in Europe and Chine the artists where fascinated by “the landscapes of the mind”, correspondences between towns and the errands of the mind of human beings when influenced by the various feelings.
Therefore a wandering soul can be compared to a geographic searching the way on a map, or reconstructing the network of streets and plazas and rivers and mountains out of the memory – well before the aerial views so easily available today.
The view of the Italian Capri island by B+B is a psychoanalytic lesson; the streets and the other places have been renamed, after the chain of feelings which the famous island evokes in the mind of the artists.
Another map reconstructed is “ideal city” which reinterpretes symbolically that Renaissance concept: also here, streets and other landmarks have been renamed after the universe of natures pertaining to “love” (hence the exhibition’s name).
When I mentioned “irony”, I had in mind exactly their work of art; the itinerary of a voyage consists of a stop at the Excitement Street before touching the Temptation Law Court, perhaps avoiding the Lips Prison but with an eye on Touch Me Library.
This is Art which one would indeed like to hang at home or in the office, and let the imagination runs as a pause from the quotidian cares of everyday life.
